Badael-Alternatives came out yesterday when I was still in Cyprus. My editorial: Akkar is occupied by poverty, liberate it before someone else does. Rana Hayeck's article on IBSAR's biodiversity projects (I have linked IBSAR's blog a few days ago-wild edible plants project). Muhammad Muhsin on "the poor person's alternative to going out at night" or life without electricity in Beirut's suburb's. Samer Tutunji wrote a short piece about the uses of carob, and Rana a short article about stress alleviation.
