In the same ill fated meeting in which it took the decision to outlaw Hizbullah's communication network, the council of minister also decided to stop the Export Plus program for one year "to save money". The program is one of the few agricultural support programs, and it has come under criticism for targeting exporters and middle men by subsidizing cost of freight. The government had decided to amend it and continue supporting it. Not anymore, apparently.
