this is a great link! My husband (who is Lebanese but lives in Canada) and I (Finnish Canadian) have been discussing healing herbs and have been trying to figure out what certain herbs and healing plants' names are in Arabic (dictionaries are no help). His mother once came to visit us and picked an herb from our backyard and put it in the salad. I had no idea what it was--but now I do, thanks to the Plant Database on the website. (It was purslane). The Plant Database is very helpful! thank you for posting.
