My dear friend Rana Hayeck who used to be the editorial coordinator of Badael has left Al-Akhbar to work in Dubai. Maha Zaraket has replaced her, and she is an absolutely great editor. Todays page: My editorial: "The day of a woman" celebrating the women of Gaza. The main article by Faysal al Kak on the new vaccine for cervical cancer. An article on walnut, a great source of proteins and amino acids. Another article on the (beautiful) laurel oil soap of Aita al Shaab (the photos are mine), and an article on the additives in make up.
We miss you Rana, but don't worry about the page, Maha is a genius.
