Farm gap

"The Middle East ranks fifth in the world in terms of regions facing critical talent gaps, according to a new global report by The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA). The report, titled Creating People Advantage 2010: How Companies Can Adapt Their HR Practices for Volatile Times, was released this week.

According to the report, the Middle East talent shortage is highest in the fields of infrastructure, business services and manufacturing. The second largest gap is in agriculture, followed by chemicals, metals and pharmaceuticals facing the third largest gap."
