"Sales to Saudi Arabia also picked up with Australia shipping 120,700 tonnes in the first 11 months of 2010/11 marketing year to the Middle East kingdom compared with 71,700 tonnes a year earlier.
Saudi Arabia this year changed its specifications requirements for imported wheat in a move designed to given Australia greater access to its market. The kingdom has also decided to become more reliant on exports to reduce demand for water to irrigate crops."
