"Its $3.3 million program will focus on horticulture and livestock to be funded by the UN Lebanon Recovery Fund.
"Fruit and vegetable farmers, most of whom are heavily indebted after losing their harvests and being forced to remain idle for months, will be provided with aid-in-kind - fertilizer, seeds and seedlings and with help to rehabilitate their greenhouses," the FAO said."
They regularly visit the villages in which Land and People is working, promising them support, but to my knowledge nothing has materialized yet. I have the feeling they've been going round in circles for a few months, paying their employees salaries to "plan the work". (thanks Deborah)
