The Lebanese government finally decided to postpone the eradication of hashish in the Bekaa till further notice (after harvest?). Note that the army refused to lend a hand to the internal security forces. It really doesn't need another Nahr el Bared, this time with the Shi'a tribes and the Maronites of the Bekaa.
