Falafel, not war!

"Ali Fahs agrees. Known as Mr. Pickles, he sits at the market behind a table heavy with jars of preserved vegetables, jams and balls of labneh - strained yogurt packed in olive oil. He is from Jebchit, a town in the south of Lebanon, where the bombing last summer destroyed his land, house and factory. "I am Shiite, that one is Druze, that one is Christian," he said, pointing to his colleagues. "But there is no difference at all; we are all one family here.""

IHT article by my friend Anna Sussman.
